Eka Jaya is great for round trips to Nusa and Gili Islands

The Eka Jaya Fast Boat is a leading water transportation service connecting Bali, Gili, Gili Air, Gili Meno, Lombok, and Trawangan. It is ranked #9 among 18 fast boat services operating in Kuta.

Boat Features and Facilities

The boats come with seats on the top deck and travelers are allowed the option to watch a movie which is played inside the boat’s air-conditioned cabin. Travelers are typically provided with stickers to indicate the destinations that they choose to travel to. The operator also offers snacks, beer, and water for sale during the transfers. 

Eka Jaya’s insurance policy covers up to US$50,000 for each traveler.

Eka Jaya organizes daily transfers from Padang Bai to the Gili Islands and from Bali to Gili as well. Be aware that the boats will halt at Gili Trawangan, Lombok and Gili Air  to pick up and drop off travelers before making their way back to Padang Bai.

Note: If you board a boat from Gili T and want to go to Bali, you should know that the boat will usually halt at other islands including Lombok. This means that you should plan your schedules accordingly.

Boats that depart from Bali provides pick-and-drop services at Gili Meno as well. People traveling to Meno are transported to the beach via a local pontoon for which the locals charge an additional $2 fee.

The boats leave Padang Bai at 09:00 am and 13:00 and services travelers at Gili Air, Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Lombok .

The boats will halt at the Gili Islands and Lombok for a short time, just to pick up and drop-off travelers and they are scheduled to return to Padang Bai at 1:00 pm and 5:00pm approximately.

When you travel from the Gili Islands  to Pedang Bai, make sure that you contact the uniformed- Eka Jaya personnel who will be waiting for you in the jetty, holding a board that says “Eka Jaya shuttle”. It is a good idea to avoid dealing with the local taxi drivers and hawkers who may charge you excessively, depriving you of the benefit of the Eka Jaya free shuttle service.
